General
The subject of this document is to present and recommend to A330/A340 operators the maintenance tools related to the equipment supplied by Messier-Bugatti.
This initial provisioning document has to be taken into account in addition to the ones issued for the equipment themselves.
Basis of the proposal
Two types of maintenance tools have to be considered:
- Servicing tools which are used on an equipment when the aircraft is on ground (safety pins for example) and/or in case of "urgent" need (adapter for the removal of a wheel with a flat tyre for example). They have to be placed at each line station: refer to the initial provisioning recommendation - Part 1.
- Maintenance tools used to remove an equipment from the aircraft. They have to be provided for the main maintenance base(s) in addition to the ones recommended for each line station: refer to initial provisioning recommendation - Part 2.
